The one-size nylon tights (8-16) are a lovely shade of black and have a sheer finish to them which makes them suitable to combine with other pieces of clothing/lingerie. While the open bum area are perfectly shaped for an instant spanking to be on offer as soon as you reveal yourself to your partner. My wife easily slipped the tights on and noticed there is a silky feel to the outer finish of the tights. She did enjoy this combined with the sheer finish appearance as it created excitement on how they could be enjoyed in the bedroom alongside the naughty feelings of her bum being already exposed. Subtle but Sexy

These spanking tights arrived as always from Lovehoney in their discreet packaging. I am 5ft 0, a size 8 and do have quite thick thighs, however despite this I found these tights to fit really well. The tights sit nicely around my waist and aren't too long either, so the crotchless spanking area sits in the right place too. The tights are a little thicker than normal tights/stockings which I liked and the quality is good. Overall both myself and my partner were really happy with them!

A nice idea but not well executed.

We received these tights for review and had high hopes for them as products from the 'Fifty Shades' range are normally high-quality items. Essentially they are one-size tights with an open crotch and a large circular opening at the rear to expose the buttocks. The packaging describes them as "glossy, sheer finish with a silky soft feel". In fact, they are none of these. They are matt finished, semi-opaque and feel quite coarse to the touch but this is not really a problem as it does not affect their overall appearance or fitness for purpose. They are one-size tights and fitted my size 12 wife well if a little snug. I doubt that anyone above size 14 would find them comfortable though. The fit at the back looked good and the exposed buttocks feature worked and looked exactly as shown in the illustration. The problem was with the open gusset. Unlike open crotch panties where the edges usually overlap slightly or at least touch these tights stretch so that the edges of the gusset gape allowing the outer labia lips to hang through. Definitely not a good look and described by my wife as gross. I too found the look very unappealing. In the illustration showing the front view the model has her legs closed and slightly crossed so this problem is not apparent. We had planned for her to wear these when we go out socially as a secret turn-on but unfortunately, the gusset problem precludes this. A shame really as the idea is good but, for us at least, it does not work in practice.

Cause there's 20% missing! See what I did there? Okay, moving on! We were sent these to test and it's certainly one of the more unique pieces we've been asked to try. I say that because we weren't really sure what to do with them. We're in the middle of a lock down and it sub zero temperatures outside so short skirts and trips anywhere are off the cards for the time being. Pros - They are a nice fitting, high-quality material that will certainly keep the rest of you warm. The opening at the rear will give you plenty of easy access for a handful of butt! (Just to clarify, the wife modelled them for me) Cons - They aren't exactly bedroom material, if you want to dress up nice for a partner, there are sexier options out there. These feel more practical with a dash of naughty. The rear is open and accessible but for any sort of oral play, you'll either be tearing it out of the way or throwing her legs behind her head. Sexy, but hardly discreet. Ultimately, they are nice, but not something we would buy for ourselves.

Sexy turned disappointing

I was very kindly sent these Fifty Shades of Grey captivate spanking tights by Lovehoney in exchange for an honest review. Thank you, Lovehoney! I have to admit, my high hopes were certainly not met with these tights. I own one other piece of the Fifty Shades lingerie collection, which was a lovely quality pair of crotchless underwear, but these tights really do not match my prior experience. I usually go for a size 14/16 in lingerie due to comfort. These seem to fit the smaller end and didn’t fit me too well at all. The crotch sits far too low, and the fabric squeezes me in all the wrong places. After just putting them on, I found a medium sized hole above the opening. This was so disappointing! Without even being worn during either play or sex, they’d become damaged. The quality unfortunately really is not there. I have thicker thighs and the tights don’t really seem to have too much stretch to properly fit me as they should. I definitely think these one size tights were made with the incentive to please those who are much smaller and thinner than I am. Overall, while these look amazing at first, they really don’t suit someone with a larger build and seem poor quality.
