As a gay married man, this is THE essential douche. This product is amazing at giving you peace of mind during intimacy. Not only does it include the standard nozzle of a regular anal douche, but it also gives you the option of a much larger nozzle, with a more concentrated flow and a further reach while cleaning. Without a little preparation first the larger nozzle can be a little uncomfortable upon insertion, but if you're a regular to anal play you hardly notice. Also, for those less experienced, the inclusion of the smaller and far less intimidating nozzle ensures that no matter what, be it your first time or daily routine, you're going to have a comfortable and relaxing experience.

Some assembly required

Easy to use to help get thing cleaned out. One thing that took some work to actually setup correctly was the larger tip (which is great for cleaning out the rectum without giving yourself a full-on enema). You have to actually work to get a tight seal between the main bulb insert, the tip, and the band that the tip slides into (the blue triangle shaped piece in the picture). If you don't have it really on tight, when you squeeze the bulb you are also squeezing water all over your hands.

Recommended

As a big fan of bum play, this was essential. It’s easy to use once assembled. It is a very good material used and the multiple heads are a definite plus. It wasn’t uncomfortable at all to use, highly recommended to anyone considering butt play. I used some lube for insertion purposes and it felt amazing.

The product arrived promptly the day after I ordered. I have never had a problem with any delivery from Lovehoney. I was particularly grateful of the discreet packaging as I was out at the time and it ended up at the local post office. That could of been a awkward pick up! This is the first time I have tried a anal douche and there was very clear directions that were easy to use. My wife is a beauty therapist and does a lot of Brazilian and Hollywood waxing. One thing she always mentions is “smelly bum smells.” No amount of wiping can get rid of them. I was due to be waxed by her, so I tried it the morning before. With a little lube it was fairly easy to insert and the sensation of the water entering is not uncomfortable at all. I used it 3-4 time initially to make 100% sure the water ran clear. There were some strange sounds from the bathroom when I used it that had my wife giggling. I went for the wax with my wife and I didn’t feel self conscious about her being near my bottom at all for the first time. And she happily reported no smelly bum smells!! I now use this regularly as a matter of hygiene and before anal play. The worry about mess used to make us hesitant about anal play but this douche has got rub if that worry.

I bought the douche with a little apprehension, but having watched the instruction video it was extremely easy to use, filling from a sink stops air entrapment! Allow the half hour it suggests. This was the second douche I had purchased. The first was a little larger for a starter. This is the perfect size for me. I love that you can start with the simple nozzle then proceed to the larger with no effort whatsoever. Good quality, good price and works like expected.

Too much, and too little, at the same time

Very grateful for lovehoney's satisfaction guarantee, as this one wont be staying in our arsenal. The bulb is too firm to squeeze the water out, and you end up pushing air into yourself. The tip applicator has to be pushed into the bulb, as opposed to an easier screw in application. If you have extremely strong hands (which I thought I did) you may have better luck. The price is a little steep for the basic application.

Wrestling the nozzle out of the bulb was a small struggle but at least it won't come apart during use. A bit of lube helps the small nozzle slip in and a decent squeeze sends a useful rush of water inside. Be warned - one steady squeeze will send a stream of water in, if your grip relaxes then you may suck the dirty water back into the bulb. Make sure to clean all components thoroughly after use. The larger nozzle I saved for a later date but with a little lube its rounded shape actually helps it slide in more easily for me. I'm not sure if the different head design actually cleans any better, it just creates a different sensation.
