Lovehoney Plus Size Asymmetric Fishnet Suspender Bodystocking

Who's a beauty in this bad boy!

Uhhh man, bodystockings are awesome! All of my previous ones have been crotchless so it was really nice to have a change and have this one with intimate coverage. It is that stretchy that if you're going for a quickie, this section can easily be moved to the side. I'm 5ft 11, size 16 top, 18/20 bottom and 36Ds. It's so stretchy. Would 100% fit all sizes recommended. I wouldn't say any sections are particularly tight or snug-fitting. Love the pattern on this one (it's fishnet and mesh) and once you kinda adjust it to your shape, it really enhances your curves. The diagonal middle 'stripe' does wonders for my waist. Be aware that the straps at the top are not adjustable. I don't think it'd actually cause a massive issue for anyone, but it's just something to be aware of. I've tried this on for the past 3 nights and I keep falling in love with it! Figure enhancing, comfy and brings all the sexiness - what more could you want?

Asymmetric Bodystocking

A few years ago I had a dozen bodystockings and I made the conscious decision to stop buying them because I was close to having more bodystockings than pairs of socks! It was worrying. After a few months, I realised that quitting bodystockings cold turkey was not the answer so I promised myself I'd buy one a year. Which I have done. And I'm proud of myself. I don't know why I'm started my review with this story. I just wanted you to know I'm particular about bodystockings. When I saw this asymmetric bodystocking I just had to add it to my collection. And I'm giving it full marks. Not only does it fit perfectly and feel amazing, it is more my style than any other bodystocking I own. The halterneck straps are my favourite part of the design. I just think they add a pop of style and draw attention to the chest nicely. They also frame my collarbones which I like very much; it gives a sensual look. The bodystocking is mostly fishnet, except the opaque asymmetric panel crossing the stomach. The fishnet is a tighter weave in the leg part of the bodystocking, which I think gives a more shapely appearance to the legs. The looser weave in the torso part shows off a tantalising amount of skin. The opaque asymmetric panel almost adds movement to the piece, drawing the eyes downwards as the follow the flow of the panel. And the bonus for me; it's not crotchless! Hooray.

I'll dive right in with the sizing on this one... It's very, very stretchy! I got this as a tester (thanks, Lovehoney!), but kind of wish I'd opted for the size down now. I know I've piled on the lockdown pounds a bit and thought that the Plus size 18/24 might be the best option for me, but I forgot how very stretchy and forgiving body stockings can be. There's loads of room in this. It would easily fit someone at the end of the size range. The stocking part around the thighs was a little loose on me and I have a bit of short body anyway at 5 ft 4, so it meant the suspender effect looked sightly baggy. The top half has a kind of mesh effect part over the boob area. There's a close knit fishnet middle part with the asymmetric band running from waist to hip. This bit was very flattering because it gave a the illusion of more of a waist than I've actually got! The stocking part is fishnet and is soft and comfortable. This item is not crotchless, but due to the stretch, that wasn't a problem. The crotch bit is easily pulled to one side and I managed to go to the loo without taking it off! The best bits in my opinion are the straps for the shoulders... They are comfy and slightly wider than most straps on bodystockings. They're almost like bra straps, smooth with no digging in at all, ,and the two other straps that come up from the front join into a sort of collar effect part that easliy does up with a small hook behind the neck. There was just one more other drawback for me and that was the boob issue. My boobs are quite large and not as perky as I'd like. This meant that my nipples wouldn't stay contained in the mesh part of the upper body and kept migrating to the fishnet part! This became quite uncomfortable after a while and I had to keep shifting the boobs upward to avoid the blood supply to my nipples from being cut off in the fishnet! Obviously this issue could be solved by wearing a bra underneath. Overall I liked it but just wish I'd sized down.
