Lovehoney Empress Red Satin and Lace Body

Beautiful piece

This product comes in the usual Lovehoney Lingerie packaging, simple bag with the barcode sticker. I have to start with how nicely the lingerie materials compliment each other on this piece! The red satin band is making the bodysuit look fierce around the soft black lace and mesh. The band is positioned perfectly and is very flattering! The sizing is definitely on point! As the suspender straps are removable this can easily be worn with or without stockings, which is always a bonus!

Sexy and Classy

Lovehoney’s Empress Body is a simply stunning piece of lingerie, it’s a sleekly elegant body, from the sexy deep plunging lace V neckline to its beautiful red satin waistband, encircling my waist to accentuate my curves. Such outstanding quality, the red satin waistband fastens at the back with 3 hook and eyes, and it’s made from a double layer of satin, thus enhancing just how well made this stunning piece of lingerie is, the detachable red satin suspender straps are attached to the waistband on the inside, giving a sleek and elegant look. I particularly love just how versatile the Lovehoney Empress Body actually is, because it’s totally wearable without the suspenders attached, it’s ideal underneath a sheer top for an evening out, the perfect sexy layer. There are 3 poppers on the lined crotch, so perfect for easy access too, and the shoulder straps are fully adjustable via the little sliders on the straps at the back. Another stunning feature is the straps down the back from the shoulders are made from the same red satin as the suspenders, I love the way that just like the suspenders, they go all the way to the waistband, this gives a little glimpse of red through the lace of the body, which looks so sexy and is such a thoughtful touch, as always with Lovehoney’s own brand lingerie, there’s outstanding quality and attention to detail. I’m 5’3” and a size 10, 32F breasts and I have the medium, this fits perfectly, even down the front, the Empress Body simply enhances my curves without gaping, the legs are cut high and look very sexy. I love the way that the lace has elegantly scalloped edges and the way it’s shaped from below the waistband. Everything about this body screams elegance and quality, even the weight of it surprised me. This body both feels and looks so elegant and is totally sexy to wear, I simply love how it makes me feel when I wear it, and my SO loves seeing me in it, he says I look gorgeous.

Impressed and so much more

I just got back from a long weekend away and I was disappointed to find that I'd missed my Lovehoney delivery because it's absolutely stunning. Firstly I've never seen a body like this before, it's beautiful and unique. I'm a bit of a body convert so this was a lovely change to receive. The Empress is not like your usual body as it has suspender straps but what's even more unique about it is that they start a little higher than usual (or longer than any strap that I own, including basque and corset) and its what makes this piece so striking, however, if you're a big lover of the body but not the suspender straps then you can also remove them. The body itself is made from jet black silky lace material that is sheer in places and it is so soft to touch. To further complement this, to the middle runs a band of red satin so your eyes are automatically drawn to the waist (if you can keep them there) with a dainty tassel. Unlike most bodies as well there are tiny little poppers in the gusset area so although it's not crotchless it's something personally that I prefer. I'm a size 10/12 and a 34E so I went for a medium and this was spot on. The only issue I get (and this tends to be with all bodies) is a bit of boob flattening but with the help of the shoulder straps it helped boost things a little more. It's also what I can only describe as quite high legged, so this is definitely something to show your legs off with (or make them look that little bit longer in my case). Summary I'm really excited about the Empress body and disappointed I didn't get to take it away with me on my weekend away as my husband loves it as much as I do. It's gorgeous floral lace and sheer material is perfect for a first starter body if you are a little shy like myself (and if you are new to bodies too), it's extremely naughty but beautiful at the same time. I also can't get over the straps, I have a big love for suspenders and I've never owned anything like this before so it really excites me to have something that little bit different.

Sexy Christmas Treat

The red and black colour combo caught my eye and this body will definitely makes a sexy Christmas treat! Brilliant quality and lace, fits brilliantly (I am a size 12 with a decent chest and went with Medium). The body is high-waisted, which is not my usual go to design but I absolutely feel for this one.

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw my partner dressed in this, I can definitely say that my reaction was "Yes, Empress, what can I do for you?" The colours are great, I always liked black and red and with this little piece of lingerie item, it makes no exception. One to add to the collection of LH lingerie, definitely worth the purchase.

This little black number is absolutely stunning. I fell in love with it before I had even tried it on yet! I love the way it makes me feel sexy and more confident. My partner was definitely impressed with it too! You can wear it with or without stockings which is great! The poppers are also a great feature.

As someone who struggles to find lingerie that fits well (curvy, small waist but 36G bust), I just could not believe how well this fit. I love it and have had a lot of compliments. It's just stunning and fits everyone beautifully. I got it in L 14-16, really pleased. I just can't express how pleasantly surprised I was. I'm totally in love and for once I have a body that fits! It's got poppers as well for easy access as no doubt you will be the same as me and never want to take this off!

Not for me

The material quality of this is really good I thought the design was very sexy, until I put it on. I thought the red waistband would be elasticated, it wasn't and was extremely tight. The top half I felt looked very beautiful but the lace edges on the plunging section was a little loose I'm an F cup so I thought I would fill it out. I really like the suspenders, I like that they are higher up and are really pretty. The big thing for me that I hated was the bottom half, it did not suit me at all. It is cut almost straight down and just looked awful on me. Not only that but it was so baggy yet you can't size down because of the tiny waistband.The peice is beautiful but it didn't suit my body type at all, I have a fairly small waist and am very top heavy with curvy hips. I can imagine somone who was tall and a bit more slender than myself would look amazing in it. I just looked awful in it and felt very uncomfortable, definitely not what I was looking for.

Hourglass figure all the way down

This body is so well-designed. I don't think I've ever loved suspender straps so much.I have 38G breasts and a size 18/20 body, and after reading the reviews on the other items in the Empress line, I decided to go for the body in hopes that it would fit my boobs okay. Happily, they fit better than okay: they look great!I'm lucky to be someone with a small natural waist, so the belt on this does amazing things for enhancing my figure. Couple that with the gorgeous colour scheme and the super-soft lace, and we have a winner!When you hold this body, it's hard to imagine a good place for the suspender straps to fit. It's got a lovely high-leg cut and the lace feels so delicate and light... but when you wear it, it fits a dream, and the suspender straps go all the way up to behind the belt. It's really clever designing that makes sure the look takes centre stage.All in all, it's a 10 from me!

Okay so with this piece I bought a size large like I’ve done with my other lingerie pieces. I should have gone with the XL (if there was one) because the band round the waist is not adjustable so it’s a bit of a struggle to do up. When it comes to the material covering my breast it doesn’t fit because it just doesn’t cover them unless I’ve pull it across more. This piece is out of my comfort zone so I’m still not sure what to think of the high waist thing look yet. I love the colouring and the material, once it’s on and sorted it’s fine and I’m comfortable.
