Power Rating: Powerful - Wow! Enough power for anyone and then some!
Noise Rating - Quiet to Loud: Noisy - Emits an obvious buzz.
Texture and material construction: The PalmPower is made of silicone-coated plastic, with a silicone cap that covers approx. 2/3 of the head. It is a wand-style vibrator, but a lot smaller than a Magic Wand or Doxy style wand. It is a bit noisy but a lot quieter than the Original Magic Wand. Very nice quality wand, but not waterproof or splash-proof at all, so just clean it with a wipe and keep it away from water. The silicone cap can be washed in soap/water or top-shelf in the dishwasher if you want, but only after removing it from the wand. The cord detaches from the unit, but it is NOT rechargeable, PalmPower is a corded-only wand.
Review Details: I will be the first one to tell you, I am a power queen. I take a LONG time to come most of the time, and sometimes I don't orgasm at all even after an hour or more of steady clitoral stimulation- sometimes with an insertable dildo or vibrator added, sometimes with clit stim only. It feels good, but sometimes I'm just not in the mood, you know? I need a strong, rumbly vibration on my clitoris to orgasm, I can't orgasm yet from only internal/G-spot stimulation- although it does help add to the orgasm when I do have it.
This wand surprised me, first of all by its size - this thing is tiny for a wand. It almost fits entirely in my hand, except for the length which extends a bit past my wrist. Then there's the POWER... all I can say is WOW. It is definitely more rumbly than the Original Magic Wand (formerly Hitachi) and the power is comparable to the great Hitachi. It feels at least as strong as the Hitachi, just a lot more rumbly. It has an incremental speed control too, which makes it a lot better for me than the Hitachi which only has 2 speeds. It has no patterns, just one button which steadily increases the speed as you hold it down. You can start it off very gently and increase it to an earthquake-level roar!
The cord is a generous 8 feet long, and even though it can be disconnected from the wand, remember this wand is NOT rechargeable. It only works when plugged in. This is still a great travel vibrator for several reasons- first the POWER, obviously. Second, it comes with 4 different plugs you can attach to the adapter so you should be able to use this anywhere in the USA, Europe, or the UK where you have a wall outlet.
Third, it is a great compact size compared to a big honking Hitachi style wand. Finally, PalmPower is also a real "massager", so it doesn't look like a sex toy if you are inspected by the TSA. (It feels great on my sore neck/shoulders from when I sleep in the wrong position, or any muscle soreness after a workout- bonus points for multi-tasking!) The compact size is great for external stimulation solo or during sex with your partner without getting in the way.
There are 4 special attachments made just for this wand, standard wand attachments will not fit. The attachments come in 2 kits of 2 each, PalmSensual (this includes a g-spot internal and a dual stim/rabbit attachment) and PalmBody (each attachment has 2 bulbous tips, one with tips side-by-side and the other with the tips spread apart) which are designed to be used for straight body massage but you can use them however you like). These attachments are the same bright magenta silicone as in the PalmPower, so they match the color scheme of the wand. I won't be reviewing the attachments here but they are available on SheVibe, and are very reasonably priced.
I keep this wand in a Devine drawstring bag, along with the cord and the 2 PalmSensual attachments with room to spare. In use, the PalmPower WILL vibrate the hell out of your hand (it is powerful), so keep that in mind. A little red light on the wand glows while it is plugged in to tell you it is getting power, that's all it means so don't freak out when you see that red light and assume something's wrong- it's fine! I have heard the Cal Ex Couture Inspire is the exact same wand as the PalmPower, only in a more girly color scheme of two-tone pale and paler lavender (blech!). That one only comes with a USA plug, so if you are outside the US or traveling there then get the PalmPower instead.
The PalmPower attachments should also fit the Couture wand. I prefer the PalmPower charcoal/magenta colors myself, and the choice of plugs in case I travel with it.
Summing up: PalmPower is a compact, versatile, world travel-friendly, mighty little wand and if you are a fellow power queen, it is a great product at a great price- just make sure your electric bill is paid up!
