The material feels cheap and clunky, you'd get the same result if cut up the armstrap of an old backpack.
Needless to say, it does the job, but the extra amount of depth this allows for isn't really worth having an extra item in the bedroom for. If doggys your favorite position, then this will spice things up a bit. I'd recommend it, but not an essential piece for a toybox.
